MCC Huatian's Domestic Automation System Powers H-Beam Line at Hebei Jinxi Steel
At 9:58 AM on March 31, the No. 3 production line at Hebei Jinxi Steel's No. 2 Beam Mill was successfully commissioned and entered trial production. This marks the second successful deployment of a fully China-made automation control system for H-beam rolling lines, developed by MCC Huatian's Nanjing Electrical Engineering & Technology Co., Ltd.
1. Adoption of the IRT protocol for the breakdown mill, continuous rolling stands, and flying shear, achieving a 1ms processing cycle and significantly improved equipment control precision
2. Development of a new breakdown control system for faster breakdown speed
3. Deep optimization of cascade regulation and micro-tension control for the continuous rolling stands
4. Full automation of the stacking area
With the No. 3 line now operational, the team is finalizing remaining work while actively preparing for the automation upgrade of the No. 2 line.
This dual-line localization project provides valuable real-world experience for H-beam rolling line automation and lays a solid foundation for MCC Huatian's continued innovation in homegrown metallurgical automation technology.
